Compatibility Matrix for Mitrefinch products

The below table shows the current state of compatibility between our products and the software required to use them. You can use it to decide what third-party products to use with Mitrefinch software.

  1. Software marked as Compatible is confirmed to work with our products. Mitrefinch are committed to providing support for customers using this software, and will endeavour to rectify issues relating to this software.
  2. Software marked as Testing pending has not currently gone through the testing required for Mitrefinch to confidently confirm that it is compatible with our software, and thus is not currently recommended.
  3. Software marked as Incompatible has been definitively confirmed to not work with our product.
  4. Software marked as Extended support will work with our software, but any bugs found that are directly related to its use will only be addressed if it is deemed to be a critical issue.
  5. Software marked with an asterisk (*) have a note relating to them in the Notes section.
  6. Any software not listed in the Compatibility Matrix is not recommended for use with any Mitrefinch product.


 

Note: All software should should be updated to its latest version wherever possible.

Notes:
1. SQL Servers 2016 and upwards need to be run in mode 120 in order to be compatible
2. Windows Server 2012 and 2016 Express have a limited number of users, and thus are not recommended
3. Microsoft SQL Server Express databases are compatible with TMS 8, however they have a size limit of 10GB. If your database reaches capacity, this will cause TMS 8 to cease working. As a result, Express databases are not recommended for systems that are likely to exceed this limit, e.g. those that will contain large or numerous documents for their employees. Therefore, it is recommended not to use Microsoft SQL Server Express for these systems.
