Profile maintenance

Profile maintenance

Overview

The Profile maintenance page allows you to view the dashboard and add tabs to each individual User profile. To access the Profile maintenance page in TMS, select Dashboard maintenance from the menu in the drop-down Header pane, then select Profile maintenance from the left-hand navigation pane.

When you navigate to the Profile maintenance page you will see a list of User profiles. For example:

Note: User profiles are defined by your system administrator and by Supervisors with Maintain users enabled in their User profiles.

The list contains the Code, Description and Type (Employee or Supervisor) of each profile. Clicking on either of these will open up the relevant profile maintenance page, displaying the Dashboard of that particular profile. The example below is what the Dashboard for the User profile 'Full access profile' will look like:

Note: When viewing the Dashboard of a profile, Widgets and tabs cannot be modified. This can only be done on the Dashboard maintenance page.

You can also add tabs to the dashboard using the Add tab option in the left-hand pane.

A drop-down list is also available for each tab with the option to Remove tab instance. When clicked you are taken to the Remove tab instance page. For example:

Click  Remove  to remove the tab from the selected User profile and return to the updated Profile maintenance page.

Click Cancel to abort the removal, retain the tab and return to the Profile maintenance page.

If no tabs are available within a profile, a 'nothing to display' message is shown instead. For example:
