Installing Enroller

Installing Enroller

Enroller allows you to enrol employees for clocking with biometric terminals.

Install Enroller from the Build Enroller Installer option on the TMS Dashboard.

Note: If your computer has a Kiosk licence, the Enroller installation options will be in Kiosk Site Planner > Prepare install. The Kiosk installer options will also be present in this screen.

The Build Enroller Installer screen has three sections:

  • Build Enroller Installer – Compiles the installer and presents it as a downloadable file under Enroller Installer.

  • Built Versions – Displays the current TMS System version and the Built enroller version. If the version numbers do not match, click Build Enroller Installer to create a new install file.

  • Enroller Installer – Presents the option to download the installer as an Executable file (.exe). If this section does not appear, click Build Enroller Installer to create the file.

Note: The Enroller Installer also features a Compressed archive option. This contains the same files as the Executable file, but in a compressed .zip format. This is for Support and advanced users only.

Click the Executable File link to begin the Enroller install.

Note: Your browser may prompt you to Run or Save the EnrollerInstall.exe. Select Run to begin the install immediately.

The Installation screen appears. Click Next, and Next again

Note: At this point a Lumidigm device driver installer may appear. This only occurs if the drivers for the biometric device are not present on the system. Follow the instructions until you return to the Enroller screen.

The installer confirms that all required files are present. If drivers were already on the computer, the installer marks the driver install as skipped. Click Next.

The installer provides you with an option to test your biometric reader. Click Run to perform the test, or click Next to skip the test.

The installation options appear. You do not need to change these options, but you can untick Use Default Proxy to enter custom proxy settings if required. Click Next to continue.

The installer asks whether you want to create desktop or Start Menu shortcuts. Select the desired options and click Next.

The installation runs. Click Next once the install is complete, then click Finish.
