Details to provide for a potential engineer visit

If you suspect that you have a mitrefinch hardware related fault and have already followed our useful troubleshooting article Mitrefinch Unit Fault - Customer Checklist.

Then you may require a mitrefinch engineer onsite to investigate further once our support team have qualified the details.

In order to prepare for this if you could provide the following details when raising a ticket or emailing then this will help us to arrange a visit sooner rather than requesting later.

1. Site contact details (full name and direct telephone number) at the site where the unit is located.  This contact is for the Engineer to liaise with when they get to site, therefore if they are working from home you need to let us know so that arrangements can be made.

2. The site address (including the postcode)

3. Where the unit is located at the site and if it is a main unit e.g. reception.

4. Summary of the fault including the employees affected e.g. All or Some and impact   Also any details of troubleshooting you have already performed as this will help to determine if a engineer is required.

5. If the site has any special requirements needed before the engineer can attend site for example any Paperwork or Safety clothing?

6. Is there parking at the site and the availability of the site i.e. times site open?
