COVID-19 Support Services

COVID-19 Support Services

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to expand in scale and severity, it’s of no surprise that it will be causing a lot of anxiety and concern to businesses worldwide who are trying to keep on top of the evolving situation, all while trying to keep their businesses operating.

At Mitrefinch we are already a largely remote and well-connected workforce with offices around the world and are well equipped to ensure that we can continue supporting our customers through this difficult time. You can rest assured that none of your services will be impacted by the effects of the coronavirus.

We’ve already been contacted by some customers about what we can do to help them alleviate the pressure and we want you to know we are here to help – should you need extra assistance. Listed below are the ways in which we can help you:

On-prem to hosted switch over to facilitate remote working and DR

We have had an increase in customer requests to switch from on-premise to hosted environments to assist with their DR programmes, facilitate remote working and business continuity.

We can help migrate you safely, securely and confidently to a cloud hosted solution.

Emergency Virtual Assist

Having received a large volume of system administration resource support requests from customers, we want to give you peace of mind by providing you with emergency system administration assistance, to cope with internal changes such as new shift rules and patterns, new absence codes, entitlements and payments. We are also seeing a high volume of assistance requests for building out new absence reports. Where you need system expertise to quickly make configuration changes, we can do this remotely on your behalf.

Delivered by our highly experienced product consultants, you can have changes made to your system configuration and have new reports built by a remote team. All that’s needed is a call with one of our consultants to explain your requirements and we will do the rest.

Customers are predominantly using the Emergency Virtual Assist for:

  1. Additional absence reasons for precise reporting of COVID-19 and self-isolation
  2. New reasons and worked hours codes if required
  3. Changes to SSP configuration
  4. TAS amendments as required
  5. Configuration and support in launching mobile functionality to supplement existing methods of clocking
  6. Implementing ‘Quick Access Dashboard’ designed specifically to help customers and their staff manage the need for swift access to data; Health information, quick access to absence and leave cancellation, self-isolation instructions, questionnaires and self-isolation forms (only available for TMS 8 customers)
  7. Support with creation of your custom Furlough claims reports

Proximity readers or additional cards and fobs

At a time where hygiene and reducing contact are important for staff and employers, fingerprint readers are unsurprisingly an area of conversation.

If you already have proximity card or fob readers or use both proximity and biometric methods of clocking, you can quickly order more cards/fobs and we can help you configure your system by rolling out proximity clocking to temporarily replace biometric clocking.

If you only use biometric readers, adding a proximity reader to your terminals is a quick and easy way to implement an alternate clocking in method so that your business can continue to function as normal while receiving the same benefits of active workforce management and prioritising health and wellbeing of your workforce.

With both of these approaches, you will benefit from the ongoing ability to switch between methods of clocking in to provide resilience for future business continuity events.

In addition – please click here for some advice about the best way to keep your biometric terminals clean.
