Adding a Department

To add a department in WinTms, open the System menu and click Maintain codes: 




This will open the Maintain codes window. Locate and select DEPARTMENT, then click the Modify button:



This will open the Modify list for department window. To add a new Department,  click Modify once more and a blank line will appear at the bottom of the list into which you can input a new department. Enter your new Department on this line, and click Apply to save the changes:



You can also access the Modify list for Department window by right-clicking in an appropriate Lookup and clicking edit lookup details:



Repeat the process as described above to add a new Department. If you try to use the Edit lookup details method, and the option doesn't appear on the right-click menu, the currently logged-in user does not have permission to maintain the Department lookup.
